French Breakfast Puffs recipe

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups of flour.
1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder.
½ teaspoon of salt.
¼ teaspoon of nutmeg.
1/3 cup of sweet butter, cubed.
½ cup of sugar.
1 medium egg.
½ cup of milk.
¼ lb of butter, melted.
½ cup of sugar.
1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Preparation Instructions:

Combine the butter, sugar and egg in a food processor; mix thoroughly.

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Gradually add this dry mixture and the milk to the mixture in the food processor, with the last addition being milk.

Fill greased muffin tin two-thirds full.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

Bake for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove from muffin tin and roll in melted butter, then in a mixture of the remaining ½ cup of sugar and the cinnamon.

Serve hot.
